We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a dynamic Johannesburg-based team. This permanent role is perfect for someone passionate about GoLang, Angular, Python, and mentoring others while building production-ready solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in GoLang, building production services and understanding concurrency patterns
Solid experience with Angular and Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy, or Django)
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD workflows
Familiarity with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and query optimization
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and service communication patterns
Proficiency in Git, feature branching, pull requests, and code reviews

Highly Desirable:

Experience with Kafka, CDC, or event streaming platforms
Familiarity with ClickHouse or other columnar/OLAP databases
Experience migrating monoliths to microservices
Background in high-throughput, data-intensive systems
Experience in regulated industries with strict ACID/data accuracy requirements

Beyond Technical Skills:

Takes ownership from concept to production
Thinks strategically and contributes to product and codebase improvements
Values quality and long-term maintainability
Mentors and develops other engineers naturally
Adapts to complex, ambiguous challenges
Communicates technical trade-offs clearly to both engineers and business stakeholders
