Senior Salesperson

A leading water purification solutions company is looking for an experienced Senior Salesperson with strong experience in technical sales, customer relationship management, and solution-based selling to join their team in Cape Town. This role requires a high-calibre individual with a proven sales track record, exceptional product knowledge, and the ability to identify and close new business opportunities across residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural markets.

Responsibilities:

• Drive new business development through proactive lead generation and market expansion.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high service levels and identify upsell opportunities.

• Provide expert product advice on water purification systems, including point-of-use, point-of-entry, borehole treatment, and industrial solutions.

• Conduct thorough needs assessments and recommend suitable products or systems.

• Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement to deal closure.

• Stay up to date with product developments, technologies, and industry trends.

• Work independently, managing your schedule and sales pipeline effectively.

• Collaborate with a highly motivated team to support overall business growth.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales administration or sales.

• Strong technical orientation; plumbing, electrical, or engineering background advantageous.

• Retail sales experience required.

• Excellent communication skills with strong customer service focus.

• Proficient in computer literacy and administrative accuracy.

• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

• Must have own reliable transport.

• Well-presented and professional.
