Job Description

Job Title: Senior Security Supervisor
Location: Cape Town

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Security Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations and management, as well as a proven track record of leading a team to ensure the safety and security of a facility or organization.

Key Responsibilities:

– Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure the protection of property, assets, and personnel
– Develop and implement security procedures and protocols in accordance with company policies and industry best practices
– Conduct regular patrols and security checks to monitor and address any potential security risks
– Respond to security incidents or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary
– Train and mentor security staff to ensure they are equipped to handle their responsibilities effectively
– Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to security team members

Qualifications:

– Matric Certificate
– Valid Psira certificate (Grade A-B)
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
– Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and practices
– Excellent communication and leadership skills
– Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and security management software
– Must possess a valid security license or certification
