Senior Shopper Marketing Manager (Cape Town)

This role is responsible for leading client relationships, taking detailed shopper marketing briefs, developing innovative strategies, and delivering impactful in-store and omnichannel shopper experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Client engagement and relationship management
• Brief management and strategy development
• Creative ideation and campaign development
• Present strategies, ideas, and campaign concepts to clients and internal stakeholders
• Ensure shopper marketing strategies translate effectively into retail and in-store executions.
• Work closely with shopper marketing and operation teams to deliver seamless in-store campaigns

Qualifications and experience

• Degree in marketing, business, or related field
• 8+ years in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or brand activation, with at least 3 years in a senior strategic role.
• Strong agency background at director or senior account director level, handling FMCG/retail clients.
• Proven track record in developing and executing shopper marketing strategies.
• Deep understanding of FMCG, retail channels, and shopper insights.
