Senior UX/UI Designer (Johannesburg)

What we are looking for: Senior UX/UI Desginer 

What you will do: 

• Conduct UX audit of key flows (onboarding, sign-up, etc.) and identify quick wins

• Build a structured, scalable design system in Figma

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver high-quality feature designs and wireframes

• Ensure responsive, accessible,and consistent user experiences

• Own and uphold UX quality and visual consistency across the product

• Create clear documentation for smooth hand-offs

• Identify and resolve UX/UI issues proactively

• Deliver UI/UX assets quickly to support faster development cycles

What you must have:

• 5+ years’ experience designing SaaS products (web, app, mobile) for multiple user types

• Advanced Figma skills (Auto Layout, Variants, Design Tokens)

• Strong ability to map and simplify complex user journeys

• Skilled in building and maintaining scalable design systems

• Proficient in prototyping (Figma Interactive, Protopie, or Framer)

• Experienced with responsive and accessible design (light/dark modes)

• Solid understanding of information architecture and interaction design

• User research experience (interviews, journey mapping, usability testing)

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and multimedia design (PDFs, banners, etc.)

• Data-driven design approach (Mixpanel, Hotjar, etc.)

• Collaborative mindset with developers; understands technical constraints

• Bonus: Mentorship or small team leadership experience
