Social Media Co-ordinator (Johannesburg)

#HelloYes Marketing is looking for a dynamic, energetic individual to join our growing team in the role of Social Media  Co-ordinator. Preference will be given to those candidates with previous agency experience.

Responsibilities include:

• To come up with strategies to align with the clients brief and business objectives 
• Plan, manage and implement all social media activities and calendars for the team
• Pro-actively manage social media communities, creating, writing and reviewing content plans, managing moderation and escalation processes with client and measuring performance and reporting.
• Manage and coordinate all social media activities within the business
• Report on ideas on how to improve the performance of the platforms.
• Content creation - research and copywriting required for newsletters, blogs, articles, communication materials and website content.
• Customer relations – offer support to the clients, communicate with clients and ensure client satisfaction.
• Responsible for proofreading and proof checking all content against the KPIs and playbook in the company before being distributed to clients.
• Execute work in a timely manner; meet all deadlines whilst producing quality and accurate work
• Assist the content and community management 
• Ensure all campaigns are socially aligned.
• Manage campaigns from beginning to end
• Advise on the development of social media applications and promotions.
• Stay abreast of current industry trends and technology, creating and updating quarterly reviews.
• Research ideas and study successful competitors' campaigns and report on these findings.
• Give strategic direction through community insights, idea generation and trend analysis.

Requirements

• Excellent written and grammatical skills
• Social Media paid media experience
• Knowledge of social media management software
• Supervisory Skills
