Social Media Manager (Johannesburg)

We are looking for a Social Media Manager with ad agency experience to join our small, but growing agency to start immediately.

The ideal candidate will work with large and mid-large-sized brands in SA and Africa. This role will be responsible for all the brands of the company across ALL social media platforms. Strong technical expertise will be essential for this role, combined with strong content creation, strategy development, digital marketing and high EQ. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Social Media Strategy and managing the full range of Social Media Accounts along with the community manager for all the brands.  Strong technical know-how combined with strong crisis management, customer management and a proven ability to build social media communities and campaigns will be key in this role.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Relevant degree / diploma
• 2+ Years of experience in social media management handling multiple brands at agency-level 
• Good understanding of social media KPI's
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other social media platforms and best practices
• Ability to measure campaign success
• Knowledge of design thinking
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, pressurised environment
• Own transport
