Hire Resolve’s Client is looking for a Strata Control Officer to be based at a coal mine in Mpumalanga!
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess rock mass conditions to identify and mitigate ground-related hazards
- Implement, monitor, and audit strata control measures
- Conduct regular workplace and geotechnical inspections
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, safety standards, and organizational best practices
- Adhere to and enforce site safety rules and regulations
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree / National Diploma in Mining Engineering or 2 papers of COMREC and Mine Overseer’s Certificate
- Chamber of Mines Strata Control Certificate for Coal Mines
- 2 years’ experience in a Mining environment
- Valid Driver’s License
