STADIO (Pty) Ltd is inviting applications for the positions of:
- Support Centre Manager: Mbombela
Start date : 01 October 2026
Purpose of the role
To lead, manage and coordinate the deliverables of the STADIO support centre.
Key roles and responsibilities
Collaboration planning, administration and target management
- Establish STADIO as a private higher education partner to business and government in the area.
- Negotiate and sign memoranda of understanding (MOU’s) with collaboration partner institutions.
- Grow group students in the area by an agreed targeted annual number.
- Ensure that all group students are appropriately tagged on STADIO’s student information management systems so that appropriate financial and academic reports can be extracted.
- Prepare a monthly management collaborations report.
Distance learning recruitment
- Manage the recruitment of distance learning (DL) students who engage with the support centre.
- Ensure Support Centre Advisors are performing to target and intervene when necessary.
- Meet annual DL student enrolment targets.
Contact learning enrolment
- Manage the assisted enrolment of contact learning (CL) students who engage with the support centre.
- Support the activations team, and coordinate with them, all visits to feeder schools.
Support centre management
- Ensure facilities at the support centre are always in good condition.
- Ensure that the support centre has an appropriate health and safety management system in place.
- Ensure that the support centre always has appropriate marketing collateral.
Staff management
- Ensure support centre advisors are performing their recruitment and support duties to the correct standard.
- Meet regularly with staff to gauge performance against targets.
- Meet regularly with staff to provide opportunities for them to give input into their work environment.
Visitor management
- Track and report on all people who engage with the support centre (email, telephone, walk-ins).
- Ensure all visitors experience excellent support from the support centre.
- Resolve all visitor queries, if possible.
Minimum requirements and knowledge
- Must live in the city where the support centre is located.
- A relevant post-graduate qualification.
- 5-10 years’ experience in higher and/or tertiary education or similar service-focused industry.
- Management experience in higher and/or tertiary education or similar service-focused industry.
- Knowledge of undergraduate and post-graduate curricula and programs at SA universities.
- Knowledge of the STADIO educational offering.
- Knowledge and understanding of contracting.
