What Is the Presidential Youth Employment Initiative (PYEI)?

The PYEI is a government-backed programme designed to provide work experience and reduce unemployment among South Africa's youth. Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, you must:

• Live within 5km of a school or 30km in rural areas.

• Be a South African citizen.
