Technical AI Business Analyst (Johannesburg)

Now we’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst who’s as comfortable in a sprint planning session as they are in a boardroom — someone who speaks both tech and people, translates geek into speak, and knows that spreadsheets are just the beginning.

What you’ll do

• Elicit and define requirements through user stories, use cases, and clear documentation.
• Facilitate workshops with clients to unpack complex problems and align on deliverables.
• Apply solid technical knowledge of SDLC, AI, and LLM development to bridge business and engineering.
• Support quality assurance, validating outputs against specs and testing deliverables.
• Act as a trusted partner — translating business strategy into actionable technical plans.

What you’ll bring

• 4–6 years in technical BA work, ideally with a background in software development, systems design, or data analysis.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, UML, BPMN, SQL, and APIs.
• Workshop facilitation skills that get to the heart of problems fast.
• Sharp communication — able to listen like a therapist, challenge like a strategist, and document like a pro.
• A track record of thriving in dynamic environments (consulting, fintech, healthcare, govtech — all welcome).
