Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a Technical Product Owner to join their team in Johannesburg, GP. The successful candidate will lead product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders , drive development and delivery of innovative technology solutions and foster an agile, high-performing team culture.
Responsibilities:

Lead scrum teams; define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.

Align product roadmap to business strategy by engaging internal & external stakeholders.

Act as product ambassador, conducting demos, internal/external training, and knowledge sharing.

Research, conceptualize, and own technology product roadmap components (Salesforce, Microservices, etc.).
-
Manage UX/UI processes and write tech specifications.
-
Prioritize and manage product backlog using Jira.
-
Translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
-
Manage development teams and ensure timely delivery to spec and quality standards.
-
Report progress, risks, and bottlenecks to the technology steering committee.

Run proofs of concept for new tools and technologies.

Facilitate design sessions with dev teams to select optimal solutions.

Nurture an Agile culture for rapid, value-driven delivery.
-
Develop and implement test plans; participate in UAT.
-
Support post-deployment functionality and business handover.

Run tech team standups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.

Develop detailed product feature specifications for dev teams.

Coordinate rollout of new features across business and tech units.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, IT, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Competency in business process design & analysis.
-
Ability to see and present the big picture with improvement solutions.
-
Practical experience in process re-engineering.
-
Proven technology project management experience.
-
Scrum/Agile training and experience (advantageous).
-
Familiarity with modern cloud technology, SaaS products, low-code platforms (advantageous).
-
Knowledge of IT fundamentals (databases, integration patterns, etc.).
-
CRM/ERP configuration experience (Salesforce prioritized).
