Salary

  • R138,486 – R163,131 per annum

  • Benefits include:

Minimum Requirements

  • Appropriate cleaning experience

  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills

  • Ability to perform physical and demanding tasks

  • Physically fit to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods


Key Competencies & Skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of infection control standards

  • Knowledge of correct refuse and waste disposal methods

  • Ability to operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment

  • Ability to work under pressure


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene

  • Implement infection prevention and control policies

  • Clean and maintain equipment effectively

  • Ensure cost-effective use of cleaning materials

  • Provide cleaning support services to nursing management

  • Manage waste according to policy

  • Adhere to ethics and the Department’s code of conduct


Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to rotate between clinics within the Sub-District as required

  • Candidates may be required to undergo practical and/or written assessments
