Marketing Manager (Ballito)

Job description:

Our marketing department is in search of a talented Marketing Manager to join our team to manage all things marketing related for the shopping mall, Ballito Junction, in Ballito.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Preparation and implementation of the annual marketing strategy
• Management of the marketing budget
• Management of activations and events
• Brand management
• Management of the customer care team, marketing service providers, and other suppliers
• Management of media and creative agencies
• Social media management
• Management of internal communications and activations
• Management of marketing ROI objectives
• Public relations and community liaison

The ideal candidates should have the following:
• A higher diploma or degree in Marketing or similar field.
• Minimum 4 years experience in regional shopping centre marketing is critical.
• Highly creative and able to execute the unique vision for our shopping centre.
• Flexible and can adapt accordingly to the organisation
• Keen attention to detail along with strong organisational and project management skills
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
• Exceptional organisation skills and multi-tasking skills
• Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
• Must establish and maintain effective communications with management, tenants and marketing support team
• Have the flexibility to think outside the "box". We don't do everything the traditional way, and are always looking to innovate
• Ability to foresee and identify needs of the team
• An innovative and creative approach to any issues that may arise
• Ability to work to deadlines in high pressure situations
• A bit of a risk taker and idea generator
