Remuneration: R 94 326.00 per annum

The Mpumalanga Provincial Treasury offers a two-year Internship programme for unemployed graduates residing within the province in the following fields of study for the 2026/27 financial year.

Suitably qualified women and persons with disabilities remain the targeted group and are encouraged to apply.

All appointments will be subjected to a personnel suitability check process, not limited to the following: – (criminal record, credit record, qualification verification, citizenship, employment reference, and social media).

It is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

Successful candidates will be required to enter into a performance agreement.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a pre-entry assessment.

Applications received after the closing date or those that do not comply with the requirements indicated above will not be considered.

REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for the internship programme, you must – 

  • Be an unemployed graduate aged between 18 – 35 years. 
  •  Be a South African Citizen. 
  • Have not previously participated in an internship programme.
  • Have you completed a three (03) year National / Advanced Diploma / Degree/ Honours / Master’s degree in:
    • Law from accredited Higher Education and Training institutions?
    • Media Studies / Communication / Public Relations from accredited Higher Education and Training institutions.
    • Risk Management from accredited Higher Education and Training institution
    • Public Administration / Public Affairs / Public Management / Monitoring and Evaluation from accredited Higher Education and Training institutions
    • Accounting / Financial Management from accredited Higher Education and Training institutions?
    • Supply Chain Management / Logistics/Public Procurement from accredited Higher Education and Training institutions?
    • Internal Auditing from accredited Higher Education and Training institutions?
    • Information Technology / Computer Science from accredited Higher Education and Training institutions
    • Security Management from accredited Higher Education and Training institutions?
    • Human Resource Management / Development from accredited Higher Education and Training institutions?
    • Accounting / Financial Management from accredited Higher Education and Training institutions?
