The PIC Graduate Development Programme (GDP) is a structured workplace development initiative that supports the transition of high-potential graduates from academic study into professional careers within the asset and investment management sector. The programme combines targeted learning interventions, practical on-the-job experience, mentorship and exposure to relevant business functions across the PIC.
Participants will develop technical expertise, commercial awareness, professional competencies and an understanding of governance, risk and responsible investment practices. Through exposure to the broader investment management value chain, graduates will gain insight into how the PIC executes its mandate, manages client assets and contributes to sustainable economic growth and development in South Africa. The programme is designed to cultivate capable, ethical and adaptable professionals who can contribute meaningfully to the PIC and the broader financial services industry
