Senior Digital Account Manager (Cape Town)

Job description

We are looking for a senior digital "Renaissance person" with 10-15+ years digital experience to straddle a client-facing and team management role. We are seeking a people's person with digital savvy and solid implementation experience and not a technical developer as this is largely a project management and team leadership role.

The successful candidate will be Cape Town-based and willing to travel to client and team meetings and work remotely for the remainder.

The role requires experience and demonstrable success in:

• Email marketing - Segmentation, email creation (HTML + CSS), sendings (MENA markets), Analytics, reporting 
• Web design & SEO, including strategic audits of front-end UX and back-end
• Social media paid, owned & earned across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok
• Meta Boosting & Dark ad setup
• Project management + campaign management
• Video editing
• Shopify
• Google ads - different types of ads and experience across campaigns
• Sms marketing (MENA markets) - start to finish
• Account management & project management: 83%
• Agenda reviews
• Social Media reporting reviews and analytical insights
• Content calendar reviews
• Internal team leadership
• Client facing - leading meetings, taking minutes, implementing actionables
• Project Management (follow-up with team and clients and make sure deadlines are met)
• Opinion/Advisory/Recommendations – being able to express well-informed, best practice responses to queries and suggestions
• Digital marketing funnel & best practices
• Stand-in community management when team on leave
• Digital image editing
• Wordpress content updates (cms)
• Wordpress website structural and navigational changes (dev work)

This dynamic and varied position requires a beautiful balance of IQ+EQ and favours organisation and follow-through over creativity.
