Senior Professional Officer (Cape Town)

Requirements:  

• A relevant three-year tertiary qualification
• Candidates with a degree will be given preference
• A minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years’ relevant experience in a Project Management /Project Support environment
• Business improvement, Risk, Governance, Compliance, and/or MFMA standards will be advantageous
• King IV, IT or MFMA certification will be advantageous
• Computer literacy in SAP, CRMS, TTS and Microsoft applications
• Driver’s license is advantageous

Key performance areas:

• Take ownership of the IS&T Project Management (PM) methodology and proactively manage/facilitate projects through the initiation phase
• Facilitate projects and support project managers through the project life cycle
• Provide business analysis skills and services
• Provide a unified and cross functional PM skills services
• Build value and integrity of the IS&T Programme Office and optimise its processes, products and service.
• Ensure stakeholder engagement
• Ensure the appropriate governance is exercised during and post the project life cycle including oversight of the benefit realisation process
• Provide ad hoc PM and business analysis services.
