Duties & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Driver Trainer to support our training function. You will be responsible for training, re-training, skilling and upskilling drivers. Furthermore, you will assist with the recruitment and assessment of new drivers as well as assist with developing training programs.

In this role, you should combine a strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. You should also be a reliable problem-solver.

Your goal will be to facilitate learning and ensuring classes run smoothly.

KEY DUTIES

Train and evaluate all Code 14 heavy duty drivers
Maintain records of training done
Recruitment and assessment of new Code 14 heavy duty drivers
Conduct driving performance evaluations
Accident remedial training
Classroom Training
On Road On Job training
Preparation of training schedules
Providing input for the development of training material
Coaching and mentoring
Feedback to management on training / trainee performance

Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12 (required)
Certification as Driver Trainer (Assessor, Facilitator and / or Moderator)
Valid Code 14 Driver Licence with PrDP
4-5 years relevant work experience in Training/Learning environment.
Computer Literate
Knowledge of MS Office skills (required) and LMS (desired).
