The National Youth Service (NYS) Programme Phase V is recruiting unemployed young South Africans to participate in community-based service opportunities across all nine provinces.
This programme offers young people the chance to gain valuable work experience, develop skills, contribute to community development, and build a brighter future.
✅ Who Can Apply?
• South African citizens with a valid ID
• Aged between 18 and 35 years
• Unemployed youth not currently in education, employment, or training (NEET)
• Residents of the local municipality or community where the project is located
• Able to travel to programme sites and actively participate
• People living with disabilities are encouraged to apply
• Applicants must not have participated in previous phases of the programme

⏳ Programme Duration
6 Months (384 Hours)
💰 Monthly Stipend
R24.18 per hour
Approximately R1,547 per month based on 64 working hours per month.
