The National Youth Service (NYS) Programme Phase V is recruiting unemployed young South Africans to participate in community-based service opportunities across all nine provinces.
This programme offers young people the chance to gain valuable work experience, develop skills, contribute to community development, and build a brighter future.

Who Can Apply?
β’ South African citizens with a valid ID
β’ Aged between 18 and 35 years
β’ Unemployed youth not currently in education, employment, or training (NEET)
β’ Residents of the local municipality or community where the project is located
β’ Able to travel to programme sites and actively participate
β’ People living with disabilities are encouraged to apply
β’ Applicants must not have participated in previous phases of the programme

6 Months (384 Hours)

R24.18 per hour
Approximately R1,547 per month based on 64 working hours per month.
