Job Purpose
The Department of the Premier, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a dynamic individual to provide and co-ordinate employee health and wellness programmes, manage supply management procedures and manage employees in the EHW Programme. This post is stationed in Cape Town – CBD.

Minimum Requirements
An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration
Industrial or Organisational Psychology or related field of study ; A minimum of 3 years relevant experience; A valid Code B( or higher) driving licence.

Key Performance Areas
Communication and awareness of EHW services and programme; Management of EHW advisory services, EHW Project plans; Develop relevant EHW governance and standards; Management of Supply Chain Management Procedures and Contract Management Supervising the EHW Practitioner(s).

Competencies
Knowledge of the following: Policies and frameworks regarding to employee wellness programmes in government; Quantitative and qualitative research methodologies; Latest advances in employee health and wellness theory and practice; Statutory framework governing the broad management of the Public Service; Employee health and wellness theory, practice and techniques; Appreciative inquiry; Project management; Monitoring and evaluation tools; Supply Chain Management Procedures and Contract Management regarding vendor invoices, payments and expenditure; Employee Health and Wellness (EHW) Programme monitoring and evaluation; Contract management and Supply Chain Management Procedures.

Skills: Proven computer literacy; Communication (written and verbal); Consulting and networking.

Remuneration
R 468 459 – R 561 894 per annum (Salary level 9)
