Copywriter – Blogs and Website Content (Cape Town)

We’re looking for a Freelance Copywriter who knows how to write for people and for search engines. You’ll be writing YouTube titles and descriptions, social posts, blogs, landing pages, and core web content that’s sharp, clear, and aligned to our clients’ tone of voice. Every word needs to earn its place—and guide the reader where they need to go.

This role suits someone who’s structured, curious, and good at turning technical or complex topics into something useful and engaging. You’ll work alongside our content strategist, web designers, and SEO team to make sure your work doesn’t just sound good—it performs.

What you’ll do:

• Write blogs that are easy to read and purposeful
• Create and refine website copy that drives engagement and conversion
• Write short-form copy for new pages.
• Help identify content gaps and improvement opportunities
• Write YouTube titles and descriptions
• Assist with engaging social posts

Must-have:

• Experience writing for the web, SEO, and social media
• Strong research skills and the ability to follow briefs
• Excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Advantageous:

• Experience with creating sales-driven copy
• Experience writing for industries such as accounting, fintech, travel, and related sectors.
• Relevant qualification in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
