Company brief:
We are a fast-growing creator management agency. Today we do around $300,000 per month in gross sales across a roster of 29 creators. Over the next 12 months we are scaling toward $1,000,000+ per month and a roster of 80+ creators.
The single biggest lever on that growth is traffic, getting far more eyes on our creators' content across social media. Our distribution runs across mainstream platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Threads and Reddit, in both short-form and long-form video. This role owns that engine.
Role
Title: Chief Marketing Officer (Growth and Marketing Director)
Reports to: COO
Manages: 5 direct reports (Short form distribution, editing, creative, client success, Youtube Director), who each run their own team
Function: Growth, multi-platform traffic and subscriber acquisition
Purpose
This person exists to own and multiply the agency's traffic and subscriber numbers across every platform, and to build a distribution engine that no longer depends on any single platform.
Strategic significance
Subscribers generated is the single biggest constraint on the business. Today no senior leader owns it, so it defaults to a founder, which caps growth and keeps a founder stuck in execution. With this seat filled, the constraint gets a dedicated owner, the multi-platform engine gets built and driven, and the founders move up to strategy. Without it, the agency stays dependent on one platform and on a founder's bandwidth.
Responsibilities
This role owns the entire path from a piece of content to a paying subscriber, across every platform, and runs it like a weekly project with clear deliverables and owners.
1. Own the growth number
- Accountable end to end for subscribers, views and traffic across every platform.
2. Build and drive multi-platform distribution
- Stand up and scale presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, Threads and Reddit, in short-form and long-form video, with every creator live and posting, and a repurposing system that multiplies one asset into many compliant placements.
3. Own the content-to-subscriber path
- Design and protect the path from social to subscriber, and recover conversion as platform rules change.
4. Run creative, distribution and editing as one engine
- Make the creative, distribution and editing functions work as a single growth machine, and elevate the output of the creative team.
5. Own platform compliance for growth
- Keep accounts alive and growing through platform crackdowns, with compliance checks built into posting before content goes wide.
6. Own per-platform measurement
- Stand up the data that shows what is posted, how it performs and how it converts on every platform, and act on it weekly.

Results
Measured on the growth engine. Targets set quarterly in planning.
1. Subscribers generated (all platforms)
- The primary KPI. New subscribers per month across every channel.
2. Platform coverage
- Percentage of the roster live and posting across the target platforms. The leading indicator that moves before subscribers do.
3. Total views and reach
- The volume that feeds subscribers.
4. Conversion
- How efficiently audience becomes subscribers.
5. Compliance and violation rate
- Accounts stay alive and violations stay low while distribution goes wide.
Targets and weightings set quarterly with the COO.
Scale milestone (12 months)
A diversified multi-platform engine that no longer depends on any single platform, fully owned by this seat, with the founders out of the day-to-day creative system.
Requirements
Experience (non-negotiable)
- You have led this exact kind of multi-platform growth before, scaling an audience and a paying customer base across many social channels, and can show the numbers
- Strong, proven experience leading a team of around 5 or more, function leads who each run their own wider team
- Multi-platform social distribution experience, short-form video platforms in particular
- Has kept accounts and audiences growing inside platforms that throttle, ban or change rules frequently
- Has owned a top-line growth metric end to end and been measured on it
- Entrepreneurial track record (has built or scaled something of their own) is a strong plus
