About the role

We are seeking an exceptional business leader to join our team in a highly strategic and influential role that sits at the intersection of finance, supply chain, demand planning, warehousing, and commercial decision-making.

This position is responsible for leading and integrating critical business functions to ensure operational excellence, financial performance, and long-term growth. The successful candidate will possess a rare combination of financial acumen, analytical capability, commercial insight, and leadership experience.

Key responsibilities

Financial leadership

  • Partner with executive management to develop and execute business strategy.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis.
  • Drive profitability, working capital optimisation, and cost management initiatives.
  • Provide insightful financial and operational reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure robust financial controls, governance, and compliance.

Supply and demand planning leadership

  • Lead the integrated business planning (IBP/S&OP) process.
  • Align demand forecasts with supply capabilities and inventory strategies.
  • Identify risks and opportunities within the supply chain and develop mitigation plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, procurement, and operational teams.

Warehousing and inventory amnagement

  • Oversee warehousing strategy, inventory health, and stock optimisation.
  • Ensure efficient warehouse operations and service delivery.
  • Monitor inventory turnover, stock accuracy, storage costs, and working capital impact.
  • Identify and implement operational improvements and efficiencies.

Essential requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, supply chain, commerce, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience across finance, supply chain, operations, or related business functions.
  • Strong experience in financial management, forecasting, budgeting, and business analytics.
  • Demonstrated success in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management, or integrated business planning.
  • Proven ability to lead multifunctional teams.
  • Advanced Excel and business intelligence/reporting capabilities.
