A well-established metal and engineering specialist serving the industrial sector, is currently seeking an HR Officer to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations across multiple functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.

  • Administer payroll using Sage Cloud-based Payroll and Sage VIP Cloud.

  • Coordinate MIBFA (Metal Industries Benefit Funds Administrators) and MEIBC (Metal & Engineering Industries Bargaining Council) compliance and benefits administration.

  • Support employee relations, performance management, leave and absence tracking, and general HR administration.

  • Facilitate psychometric assessments as part of candidate screening and employee development.

  • Maintain accurate HR records and generate relevant reports.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of solid generalist HR experience.

  • Prior experience within the metal or engineering industry is essential.

  • Experience with MIBFA and MEIBC benefits and bargaining council processes – essential.

  • Proficiency with Sage Cloud-based Payroll and Sage VIP Cloud.

  • Comfortable facilitating and interpreting psychometric assessments.
