About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IBM BAW Architect to lead innovative workflow and automation solutions within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Technical skills

IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)
BPMN process modelling
REST / SOAP APIs
MQ, Kafka and ESB Integrations
Java / Java EE
IBM WebSphere / OpenShift
RPA, ODM and decision services (Advantageous)

Industry expertise:

Financial services and Fintech
Payments systems
Digital banking platforms
KYC, AML & GDPR compliance
Stakeholder engagement and business analysis

Governance and strategy:

Process governance frameworks
Risk, audit and compliance processes
Enterprise architecture best practices

Preferred qualifications:

IBM BAW / BPM certifications
TOGAF or enterprise architecture certification
Experience in large-scale digital transformation programs

Key responsibilities:

Workflow and process assessment

Review and optimize IBM BAW/BPM workflows
Identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities
Improve scalability, compliance, and efficiency
Recommend innovative process enhancements

Integration architecture:

Design and validate enterprise integration patterns
Work across APIs, ESB, microservices & automation platforms
