The Cape Town Carnival is on the search for a new Sponsorship Manager and a new Marketing Manager who can shape their impact and guide their messaging ahead of their next event in 2027.

Sponsorship manager

As sponsorship manager, you will be tasked with managing the Cape Town Carnival’s income from donations and sponsorships. The carnival creates significant impact and benefit for communities throughout Cape Town; your role will be to raise the funds which will drive growth and long-term impact. You will need to “hit the ground running” and utilise your experience in fundraising, sales or corporate sponsorships.

Marketing manager

In this role, you will be telling the story of South African creativity. The Marketing Manager will be integral to shaping the Cape Town carnival’s messaging and ensuring a strong brand presence. In this role, you will be “big picture” thinker, capable of executing complex campaigns that drive engagement and participation, as well as a “story spotter”, who can craft messaging that resonates with audiences.
