Midweight Graphic Designer (Fourways, Johannesburg)

JM Consulting is partnering with a small, boutique creative agency known for expressive, high‑impact work - the kind of studio where ideas move fast, designers have real creative ownership, and the work is anything but conservative. If you enjoy crafting visually striking design across print and digital, this environment will feel like home.

We’re looking for a Midweight Designer who can turn a brief into clean, thoughtful, visually compelling work. Someone who’s confident across print and digital, strong in concept, and meticulous in execution — especially when working within established brand worlds.

What you'll do

• Apply and maintain brand identities across a range of deliverables
• Translate briefs and copy into effective, well‑considered visual concepts
• Design for both print and digital platforms
• Prepare and finalise artwork for print (DTP)
• Stay current with design trends and best practices
• Collaborate with a small, creative team and contribute ideas
• Understand how design supports digital marketing objectives

What you bring

• A relevant qualification in graphic design, visual communication, or advertising
• 3+ years’ agency experience
• Strong Adobe CC skills (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Confident layout, typography, and colour sensibility
• High attention to detail and quality of execution
• Bonus if you have after effects or basic motion design and familiarity with AI‑assisted design tools
