The company is seeking a dynamic, professional, and sales-driven projects consultant to promote and grow its premium surface brands within the architectural, construction, and design industries.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Architects, Developers, Quantity Surveyors, InteriorDesigners, and Contractors.
  • Drive specification sales and business development opportunities.
  • Promote products through presentations, networking, training sessions, and industry events.
  • Manage leads, quotations, pricing requests, product samples, and customer enquiries.
  • Provide technical product advice and support throughout project lifecycles.
  • Identify new business opportunities and increase market share.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage key client relationships.

Minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • 2–5 years' experience in sales, business development, public relations, interior design, or a related industry.
  • Proven experience within the construction, architectural, building materials, interior design, or specification sales environment.
  • Strong track record of working with architects, developers, designers, and contractors.
  • Experience in project-based selling, account management, and tender processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
  • Strong communication, presentation, networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Package:

  • Basic monthly salary: Market related (not commission-based).
  • Package includes a company vehicle, cell phone, laptop and company uniform.
  • Three-month probation period applies.
  • Provident Fund after successful completion of probation.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08h00 – 17h00.
