Senior Solutions Architect (Johannesburg)

Do you have the expertise to design scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions that support business objectives? We are looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping end-to-end technology solutions within a dynamic, agile environment.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science, or a related field (BSc, BTech, or equivalent degree)
• Relevant architecture certification, with TOGAF certification being essential
• 5 to 7 years of experience in solution architecture within an Agile environment
• Foundational experience and understanding of financial markets
• Demonstrated experience in a solutions architecture role
• Experience in software engineering is advantageous
• Exposure to the South African financial markets will be an added advantage

Technical knowledge and skills:

• The successful candidate should demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in the following areas:
• Trading and risk platforms
• Data management platforms
• Cloud architecture, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Systems integration and application architecture
• Architecture and design of internally developed applications
• Agile methodologies and delivery environments
• Tools and platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Git
