Main Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Conducting proactive foot and motorcycle patrols
- Identifying and investigating safety risks
- Monitoring alarms and security cameras
- Acting as an information and assistance point on campus
- Responding to emergencies and incidents
- Assisting during fire drills and evacuations
- Providing escort services when required
- Supporting students, staff and visitors
- Maintaining security records and reports
- Assisting with disaster and emergency management
- Providing excellent customer service
- Helping identify criminal and safety concerns on campus
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
- Valid PSIRA Grade B registration
- PSIRA Event registration
