An established and innovative organization in the manufacturing and electronics sector is looking for a skilled and detail-driven Stores Controller to join their operations team. Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage daily operations within the stores/warehouse environment

Ensure accurate stock control, including regular cycle counts and full stock takes
-
Maintain stock levels in line with production requirements and lead times

Coordinate with procurement, production, and dispatch teams to ensure timely material availability

Monitor incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring correct documentation and handling
-
Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems and procedures
-
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in the stores area

Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
-
Supervise stores staff and manage workloads effectively
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a stores or inventory control role within a manufacturing or electronics environment
-
Strong understanding of stock control principles and inventory systems (e.g., ERP or MRP systems)
-
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
-
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse/stores context

Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
-
Forklift license (advantageous)

Relevant qualification or certification in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management (preferred)
