Finance Support / Junior Bookkeeper (Cape Town)

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Support / Junior Bookkeeper to join our team in the commercial and industrial property sector. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager and plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and processing supplier invoices
• Maintaining supplier accounts and resolving queries
• Processing commission slips for commercial and industrial property transactions
• Capturing and maintaining accurate financial data on Pastel Accounting
• Assisting with bookkeeping functions and month-end procedures
• Preparing basic financial reports and supporting the Finance Manager
• Ensuring deadlines are met and financial records are well maintained

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a finance support or bookkeeping role
• Strong working knowledge of Pastel Accounting
• Experience managing invoices and suppliers
• Exposure to commission processing (property industry experience is advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
