Requirements

Min 3-5 years working experience in a relevant field
Proven working experience as an IT / OT administrator, system administrator or relevant experience
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), patch management and cloud technologies
Ability to create scripts in VB.net, HTML, Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, A+ or other language
Internet security and data privacy principles
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
Expert in computer hardware: PC’s, servers and VM etc.
Experience with Microsoft active directory domain controllers
Experience with VMWARE virtual technologies and backup methods
Beneficial experience on Linux systems like Kubernetes
Beneficial experience Network infrastructure, network setup and fire-wall configurations

Qualifications

Matric (grade 12)
National diploma/ BSc/BA: information technology: computer science or related
Professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
