Travel Tractions is looking for a PR, Community & Outreach Specialist who is a blend of a natural relationship-builder, a community manager, and a highly organized administrator.

In this role, you will manage and grow our online communities, run targeted outreach campaigns to build brand authority (PR/link building), qualify incoming leads, and handle key administrative tasks to keep our operations running smoothly. This is a sales-adjacent role; you must have a passion for initiating conversations, following up persistently, and turning cold contacts into warm relationships.

Key responsibilities

1. Outreach, PR and Lead Generation

  • Outreach campaigns: Set up and run cold outreach and PR campaigns to connect with potential clients, partners, and collaborators for Travel Tractions.

  • Lead qualifying and follow-ups: Research and qualify inbound and outbound B2B leads, making sure our pipeline stays active and healthy.

  • Persuasive pitching: Write compelling, personalized outreach copy and pitches that cut through the noise of busy inboxes.

2. Community Growth and Chat Automation

  • Community management: Take ownership of growing and engaging our internal communities on platforms like Skool.

  • Workflow automation: Implement and monitor chat automation systems (like Manychat) to streamline user engagement and handle inquiries efficiently.

3. Operations and Administrative Support

  • Internal systems: Help build, update, and organize our company templates, SOPs, and internal wiki (Notion).

  • Content tasks: Assist with uploading, formatting, and minor structural edits to our internal web pages and posts.

  • Workflow coordination: Provide general administrative support to keep our small team running smoothly and efficiently.


What we are looking for

  • Relevant experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in outreach or sales. You must have a track record that proves you are comfortable starting conversations, handling rejections, and following up.

  • Top-tier written English: Exceptional communication and copywriting skills. You know how to write warm, professional, yet persuasive pitches (please note: this will be tested).

  • Self-motivated and structured: Since we are remote, you need to have a structured workflow, excellent time management, and your own reliable laptop and fast internet connection.

  • Location: Fully remote, but Cape Town candidates are strongly preferred for our periodic in-person coffee catch-ups.


Highly advantageous tool experience:

  • Experience running outreach and cold email campaigns (using tools like Lemlist).

  • Experience building and managing chat automation flows (using tools like Manychat).

  • Experience growing or moderating groups on community platforms (using tools like Skool).
