Job description

We (OFYT) are looking for an energetic and dynamic Account Executive Intern to support our busy team of account and business directors in our Cape Town office. As an Account Executive Intern, you’ll work in account management alongside an amazing team, gaining hands-on experience whist developing and building valuable client relationships and account management skills. The successful candidate will need to be the ultimate I-Dotter and T-Crosser.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the secondary point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Update briefs and job bags accurately with correct details and information (e.g. objectives / requirements / deadlines / specs)
- Schedule briefings and review times with Traffic
- Provide input support and stimulus for new briefs and navigates studio processes seamlessly to manage and track workflow
- Manage the day-to-day project jobs in the system
- Conduct weekly client meetings and provide ongoing communication and updates

Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in marketing or strategic brand communication (degree or diploma level NQ5 or higher)
- Proficient in MS Office 365
- A good command of the English language (both verbal and written)
- Comfortable working on a MAC
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Strong time management skills
- String numerical and analytical skills

- Other: Comfortable to work on-site, Monday to Friday (at the OFYT offices in Claremont, Cape Town) and comfortable to work on alcohol brands (if and when required)
