Hands-on Factory Floor Supervisor required to take ownership of day-to-day site operations in a busy Label Rewinding environment. Factory based role, ideally suited to someone who enjoys structure, systems, and people management of machine operators.
Key responsibilities
- Inventory control: Manage stock levels, stock takes, receiving, and issuing of raw materials and finished goods; maintain accurate records and minimize shrinkage.
- Administration: Oversee daily production paperwork, and manage general factory administration and documentation.
- ISO compliance assistance: Assist with the maintenance of the ISO 9001 quality management system
- Operations: Supervise production staff, plan daily workloads, and ensure output targets and quality standards are met.
- Health and safety: Enforce safe working practices and keep safety records up to date.
Skills required:
- Matric
- Solid, hands on experience gained in a factory environment, ideally print/packaging/label manufacturing sectors
Previous experience in:
- Inventory control
- Administration: Oversee daily production paperwork, and manage general factory administration and documentation.
- ISO compliance assistance
- Operations
- Health and safety
MS Office
Own transport, valid license
